What our published results show, and what transfers to your business

Our case studies are results from our HVAC work with Canadian heating companies. They are not Victoria retail, trades or hospitality results, but the planning and tracking methods behind them carry over.

Written by Ali Sedighi, MBALast updated:

Each figure below is a result from our HVAC work with Canadian heating firms. None of these is a plumbing, retail, hospitality or professional-services result, and we don't present them that way. They are here because they show a method: decide what to sell and where, track every enquiry to its source, fix follow-up, and spend where the numbers point.

The full set of case studies lives on HVAC.Agency's case-studies page. Below are the four that best illustrate the consulting side of the work.

GasBoilers.ca: building a focused division

GasBoilers.ca was built as a gas-boiler division for CANRO Heat, and it serves 26+ BC communities. It holds a 5.0★ rating from 76+ Google reviews. You can see it at GasBoilers.ca.

What it shows: a business can grow by carving out one specialist line and giving it its own name, offer and service area, rather than adding another item to a long list of services.

What transfers to Victoria owners: if one of your lines earns far more per hour than the rest, it may deserve its own focus. A renovation firm with a strong heritage-window practice, or a cleaner with a profitable post-construction service, could test the same idea. Our growth plan is where that decision gets made.

HVACDeal.ca: measuring return on marketing

HVACDeal.ca generated 500+ leads at a 12:1 ROI. See it at HVACDeal.ca.

What it shows: return on marketing can only be stated when every lead is tracked from first contact to paying job. Without that, an ROI figure is a guess.

What transfers: the discipline, not the ratio. Any Victoria business can build a source table that lists cost, enquiries, wins and revenue per channel. That is the core of our marketing spend review.

CanroHeat.ca: steady lead growth

CanroHeat.ca achieved 250% lead growth. See it at CanroHeat.ca.

What it shows: sustained growth tends to come from several modest improvements working together, such as clearer service pages, better local listings and faster replies, rather than from one dramatic change.

What transfers: more enquiries only help if the business can handle them. Before any growth push, we check whether quoting, scheduling and invoicing can absorb the extra volume. That is the job of the operations review.

BCWide.ca: speed in a short window

BCWide.ca reached 3× leads in 90 days. See it at BCWide.ca.

What it shows: a short, focused plan with a fixed deadline can produce visible change within one quarter when the fundamentals are fixed first.

What transfers: a 90-day test window is a good habit for any owner. Pick one change, set a measure and a decision date, and judge it honestly at the end. Our seasonal plan helps you choose which quarter to run that test in, so it doesn't collide with your busiest weeks.

How to read case studies, ours or anyone's

Ask four questions of any result an advisor shows you.

  1. Is the client named and can I see the live business? If not, treat the claim with care.
  2. What exactly was measured? Leads, revenue and ROI are different things.
  3. Over what period? A number with no timeframe means little.
  4. Is it from my industry? If not, ask what part of the method transfers, as we do above.

We would rather you apply that test to us than take any figure on trust.

What we will measure for you

For your business we agree measures at the start of the work and report against them. Common ones are gross margin by line, cost per won customer, quote-to-win rate, days to invoice and the lowest month-end cash balance. Those numbers, not our past clients' numbers, are what count. Fees are on the pricing page, and you can start on the contact page.

Frequently asked questions

Why are all the case studies from heating companies?

Because that is where Ali Sedighi has done most of his recent published work, building more than 150 live HVAC websites. We'd rather show real, checkable HVAC results than invent examples from other industries.

Can I contact these clients?

Each case links to the client's live website so you can see the work. We don't publish client contact details, and this site carries no client quotes or endorsements.

Will my business get similar numbers?

No one can promise that. Results depend on your market, margins, team and how consistently changes are carried through. What we can say is how the work was approached and which parts of that approach apply to you.

Do you have results from Greater Victoria clients?

We don't publish any at this stage. When we can share real, permitted figures from local work, they will appear here with the client's agreement.
